- 30-year-old junior sergeant Serhii Buslovskyi (call sign Kozak) was killed on March 20, 2022 while performing his official duties in Kyiv. He came under enemy missile fire at the Retroville shopping mall. Serhii was a resident of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. He graduated from Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, where he studied "Aquatic Bioresources". In peacetime, he worked at the Comfy store and the Bila Tserkva dairy plant. He was passionate about painting, rock music, and writing lyrics. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2017. During the full-scale invasion, Serhii continued to defend his country in the ranks of the Armed Forces. He was an artilleryman of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He participated in the defense of the capital and the region. Serhii Buslovskyi was awarded the Order of Courage of the III and II degrees (the second one posthumously). "He was for honesty and justice. Talented, generous, kind to others," said the wife of the fallen Yulia. The burial place of the hero is unknown, as after a powerful explosion, no remains were left for DNA examination. A photo of Serhii is installed on the Alley of Glory in Bila Tserkva. The family also decided to install a monument in the village of Trubivshchyna, Kyiv region, where the defender lived until the age of 18. Serhii is survived by his parents, wife, son and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
