Serhii P. Chornyi

Serviceman Serhii Chornyi was killed on April 9, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Novobakhmutivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 51 years old. Serhii was from the village of Pavlivka in the Volyn region. He lived in the village of Buzivka in the Cherkasy region. From a young age, he had a talent for technology. He mastered welding work, could make various equipment for household needs, and could repair a car. He worked as a driver in various enterprises and agricultural enterprises. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for his native country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman-assistant to a grenade launcher of the security platoon of the security company of military unit A2614. "A beloved husband and wonderful father. With a kind heart, modest, hardworking. He was always able to lend a helping hand, with a high sense of responsibility, decent and sincere. When asked, 'How are you?', he always replied: 'Everything is fine.' No matter how difficult it was... The command valued him for his ability not to succumb to anxiety in difficult situations and make the right decisions, for his conscientiousness and perseverance in fulfilling his military duty... Your eternal sleep is our eternal pain," the deceased's relatives said. The defender was buried in the village of Buzivka in the Cherkasy region. At home, Serhii was awaited by his wife, son, daughter, relatives, and friends.
