Serhii P. Hodomskyi (Profesor)

38-year-old defender Serhiy Godomsky (call sign Professor) was killed on August 28, 2022, in the area of the village of Kotlyareve in the Mykolaiv region. While performing a combat mission, he suffered a fatal mine-explosive injury. Serhiy Godomsky was born in the village of Chernyatyn, Vinnytsia region. He lived with his family in the city of Zhmerynka. He graduated from Vinnytsia National Agrarian University with a degree in "Industry Mechanical Engineering". He worked as an engineer-mechanic at LLC "Poletechnika". In his free time, he loved to fish. With the beginning of the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the defenders and went to the front. He served in the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He was a grenadier. "He was my support, always loved, helped, did everything so that I never grieved, and supported me. I want to be like him," said the deceased's son Yehor. The military man was buried in his native village. Serhiy's parents, wife, and children remained.
