Serhii P. Kushnir (Neo)

Serviceman Serhii Kushnir (call sign Neo) was killed on January 10, 2023 near the city of Kreminna in Luhansk region. The defender remained forever 42 years old. Serhii was from the city of Chervonohrad in Lviv region. He graduated from the Volodymyr-Volynskyi boarding school. He stuwas killed at the Kovel Vocational School, where he obtained the profession of a woodcarver. He lived in the city of Novovolynsk. In civilian life, he worked as a laborer. He had a talent for woodcarving. During the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine as part of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. "We grew up together with Serhii, since his mother (my grandmother) was killed. My mother Liudmyla Oleksiivna took over the upbringing. He is like a brother to me, the age difference between us is three years. Serhii planned to start a family, but did not have time. They took away the life he deserved!" - wrote his niece Olha Romanchuk. The warrior was buried in Novovolynsk. Serhii is survived by his sisters and nieces.
