Serhii P. Onoshenko

Serhiy Petrovych Onoshenko was born on March 19, 1983. He lived in the town of Horodyshche, Cherkasy Oblast. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he served as a soldier, senior operator of the communication and telecommunications group of the mobile communication unit of the 2nd category. He went missing during a battle on March 12, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Huta-Mezhyhirska in Kyiv Oblast. He was considered missing in action. On March 21, 2022, Serhiy Onoshenko's body was found without signs of life. The hero was buried on March 25, 2022, at the cemetery in the town of Horodyshche, Cherkasy Oblast.
