      • Born on November 28, 1978, in the city of Mykolaiv. Graduated from general education school No. 53 in Mykolaiv. Served mandatory military service in the Airborne Forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 11, 2014, mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served in the 79th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, Mykolaiv). Since the spring of 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 12, 2014, a column of Ukrainian soldiers, which included Sergeant Tatarinov, was ambushed during the first assault on Mount Savur-Mohyla near the village of Stepanivka in the Shakhtarsk district of Donetsk region. During the battle, Serhiy Tatarinov sustained a severe gunshot wound to the thigh. He died in a helicopter during evacuation to the hospital, remaining conscious the entire time. On June 15, 2014, he was buried in the Central City Cemetery of Mykolaiv in the village of Mishkovo-Pohorilove in the October (since 2016 - Vitovskyi) district of Mykolaiv region.
