Serhii R. Humennyi

Soldier Serhii Humennyi (call sign Gabaryt) was killed on February 12, 2024, during combat operations near the village of Stepove in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 38 years old. Serhii was a native of the village of Kolodyazne, Rivne region. In 2000, he graduated from the Kolodyazne secondary school of I-III degrees. In peacetime, he worked on seasonal jobs. In his free time, he loved fishing, construction, and repairs. The man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the spring of 2023. He served in the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura". He was a grenadier. "Serhii was a kind and cheerful person. Hardworking, sociable, he always came to help everyone," said the wife of the deceased's brother, Vasylyna Humenna. The defender was buried in his native village. Serhii is survived by his mother, daughter, two sons, brother, sisters, and nephews.
