- Junior Sergeant Serhiy Didukh (call sign Khabar) was killed on October 21, 2022, during battles with Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region. Serhiy was from Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. He graduated from Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. He lived in Kharkiv. Later, he enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. During the full-scale war, Serhiy, as part of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Ataman Ivan Sirk, defended the Kharkiv region from the occupiers. In June, the defender was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree and a commendation for the defense of Kharkiv region. "The best among us has gone to another world. Gray Didukh (Khabar). We all mourn deeply. Our souls bleed from this untimely loss. He was a support for all of us. He was the first to come to help, never waiting for a request or complaint. His kind heart and broad soul were always open. He was a good Warrior with a capital letter, a bright light and a guide in a complex and dangerous world for all of us, his friends! May the soul of this wonderful person rest in peace! We will always remember him with a feeling of bright sorrow mixed with secret longing!" — wrote his friend Oleg Shatokhin. "You were a true warrior, a commander, a friend... We will miss you so much. Heroes do not die; you will remain forever in our hearts," — wrote Mykhailo Bodnaruk. "Unspeakable pain... War takes the best sons of Ukraine. Honest, educated, and brave, that is how Serhiy will remain for us. We are happy to have known him. You are his continuation in this world; as long as you exist, so will he," — wrote his acquaintance Iryna. The defender was buried at the Alley of Glory in Kharkiv. Serhiy is survived by his wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
