Serhii S. Feskov (FES)

Grenade launcher Serhii Feskov (call sign Fes) was killed on January 28, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. The soldier was 32 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Uizdtsi, Rivne region. He graduated from the Zdolbuniv Vocational Lyceum of Railway Transport. He worked as a train assembler at the Darnytsia depot in Kyiv. Later, he retrained as a baker. He worked as a baker in the Epicenter trade center in the capital, baking bread and various treats. He was interested in and studied the history of Ukraine. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine. For a month, he was in the territorial defense of the village of Yarun, Zhytomyr region. And he stormed the military enlistment office to be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the beginning of April, he has been a soldier of the 95th separate airmobile brigade. He took part in battles for the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. "The best son in the world. My strong support, my protection, my support, my life. Extremely kind, brave, fair, attentive. He loved Ukraine very much, its history, was fascinated by the Cossacks. He was a true patriot of his Motherland," said the defender's mother, Oksana. Serhii was buried in his native village. At home, the warrior was awaited by his mother, wife and son.
