Serhii S. Osypenko

Sergeant Serhiy Osipenko was killed on April 30, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Toshkivka in Luhansk region. The defender was 38 years old. Serhiy was born in the city of Termez (Uzbekistan). From childhood, he lived in Kirovohrad region. He received the profession of a tractor driver-mechanic at the Novhorodskyi professional-technical school. His main hobby was cars. During the full-scale war, the man joined one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of shooter-sanitarian. "Serhiy was a very cheerful person. Kind and courageous," said the deceased's former wife, Nadia. "Eternal memory to our heroes, defenders. Rest in peace. Your lives will be precious to the rashists. Very soon they will envy the dead. Eternal memory to you," wrote Nadia, a fellow countrywoman of the deceased. The defender was buried in the village of Novhorodka in Kirovohrad region. Serhiy left behind his mother and daughter.
