Serhii S. Shyshkin (Shyshka)

35-year-old Serhii Shyshkin (call sign Shyshka) was killed on December 17, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. Serhii was born in the Odesa region. He had a secondary specialized education. He was an electrician by profession. He worked at the Podilsk Bread Factory. He lived with his family in the village of Liubomyrka in the Odesa region. In October 2023, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended the country as part of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade, holding the position of a sniper-rifleman in the 7th battalion, 3rd platoon, 3rd company. "It's very sad that the best people leave this world first. We miss him very much, it's hard to live without him," wrote the deceased's wife, Antonina. The defender was buried in the city of Podilsk, Odesa region. Serhii is survived by his wife Antonina and daughters Yuliia and Olha.
