Serhii S. Stupak (Uholok)

29-year-old junior sergeant Serhii Stupak (call sign Uholok) was killed on September 5, 2022 in battle near the settlement of Ternovi Pody in the Mykolaiv region. During enemy shelling, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of an explosion of an armored personnel carrier. He was considered missing for over 2 months. Serhii was born in the village of Hvozdiivka, Odesa region. He lived in Ananyiv. He graduated from the Ananyiv Agrarian and Economic Professional College, where he obtained the profession of tractor driver. After finishing school, he worked on a farm. He was passionate about cars and loved to repair them. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. During the full-scale invasion, the man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He was a driver-mechanic, the commander of a combat vehicle. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he held back the Russian invaders in the southern direction. "A beloved husband, a loving father, a true patriot who has been defending the Motherland since 2014. He was in all the hot spots. A devoted friend who always helped his friends and comrades-in-arms, never leaving them in trouble. Serhii dreamed of a large happy family, wanted to live in an independent state, had big plans. But the aggressor deprived him of life... Now he is our Angel and Hero. We miss him..." - said the wife of the fallen Viktoriia. The warrior was buried in the city of Ananyiv, Odesa region. At home, Serhii was awaited by his parents, wife, three sons and a daughter.
