- Born on March 20, 1987, in the city of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi). Since 1990, he lived with his family in the urban-type settlement of Znamianka Druha in the Znamianka City Council of Kirovograd Oblast. He graduated from secondary school No. 7 in the city of Znamianka, Kirovograd Oblast, and then from the Znamianka Professional Lyceum (in the city of Znamianka, Kirovograd Oblast) with specialties in "welder" and "mason." In the spring of 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After demobilization in 2016, he continued military service under contract. He served as a senior rifleman-sapper in the 1st company of the 501st separate battalion of marine infantry of the 36th separate brigade of marine infantry of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1965 (A0669), in the city of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 8, 2017, senior sailor Trubin was killed while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Verkhnyoshyrokivske in the Novoazovsk district of Donetsk Oblast, having detonated a mine. Along with him, junior sergeant Mykola Okhrimenko and junior sergeant Serhiy Sonko were killed. Since then, the marines were considered missing in action. On January 11, 2017, the bodies of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers were taken by militants of the terrorist organization "Donetsk People's Republic." On January 13, 2017, in the city of Donetsk, the bodies were handed over to the Ukrainian side, from where they were sent to the city of Dnipro for identification. He was identified by his comrades. On January 15, 2017, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Znamianka Druha in the Znamianka City Council of Kirovograd Oblast.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
