Serhii S. Turturianu

Soldier Serhii Turturjanu was killed on February 19, 2024 near the village of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he came under enemy artillery fire. The defender was 32 years old forever. Serhii was born and lived in Vinnytsia. After school, he studied at the Higher Vocational Art School No. 5. He obtained the profession of plasterer, tiler, and mosaic artist. He worked as a welder at Ameron LLC. He was a kind, bright, and positive person. In his free time, he made wooden toys for children and made metal souvenirs in the form of airplanes, cars, motorcycles, and robots. He loved fishing. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. He held the position of operator of the anti-tank missile systems platoon. He did not have a call sign, but called himself Lucky. Serhii was a kind-hearted, positive, festive, joyful, and protective person. In my memory and the memory of friends, he is always there with his sincere smile. He was always a protector of his family and friends. He was always a loving husband and father. He joined the Armed Forces to protect his family and the Motherland. He was proud to serve in the airborne assault troops, said his wife Yulia. Serhii was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Sabarivske Cemetery in Vinnytsia. The defender is survived by his wife, two children, mother, brother, and sister.
