Serhii S. Yevsiukov (Fizruk)

Lieutenant Serhii Yevsyukov (call sign Fizruk) was killed on October 12, 2023 near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. He received fatal injuries during a mortar attack. The warrior was forever 27 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Kamyanka, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy with a degree in Physical Education. He also studied at the military department of the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University. Subsequently, he worked in various jobs. He was passionate about sports. In January 2023, the man voluntarily became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He joined the ranks of the 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of company commander. He fought in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. He was awarded certificates and the medal "For Bravery in Battle". "He was unbroken and strong-willed, a sincere, frank, and straightforward person," said Liudmyla, the wife of the deceased's elder brother. The officer was buried in the Alley of Glory of cemetery No. 18 in Kharkiv. Serhii is survived by his mother, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.
