Serhii V. Antoniuk

39-year-old serviceman Serhii Antoniuk died on July 24, 2022, while on rotation in the Zhytomyr region. The soldier's heart could not withstand. Serhii was born in Lviv. He graduated from local school No. 48. After completing his military service, he studied at the Lviv Technological College. He worked at the "Lvivahromashproekt" company. He was interested in technology and loved to repair everything. In the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since March, he has been defending the Zaporizhia region together with his comrades-in-arms. "On February 27, 2022, my brother did not hide, but bravely went to defend us after receiving the summons. He never told us where he was, what he was doing, he always said: 'Everything is fine!' We could only guess where he was. He said we couldn't know. That's how he was: very responsible, in everything and always. He spoke so little, we know so little! And unfortunately, we will no longer know! We still cannot come to terms with this, it is impossible to convey in words how dark these days and months have become for us. Our mother is still crying and waiting for her son. But he won't come back! You, my brother, are now in heaven! Now you are protecting us in the heavenly army! We will never forget you!" - said the warrior's sister Natalia. Serhii was buried in the village of Cherchyk, Lviv region. The defender is survived by his mother, aunt, uncle, sister, nephew, and goddaughter.
