Serhii V. Bandrabur (Dok)

Combat medic Serhii Bandrabur (call sign Doc) was killed on February 20, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. The serviceman was 37 years old. Serhii was born and lived in Okhtyrka, Sumy region. He graduated from school No. 1. In peacetime, he worked as a construction worker. In his free time, he was engaged in the production of wooden products, carving boxes and frames. He loved animals, especially dogs. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. "It's very painful. I love, I remember. You left too early, no one could save you. You are constantly in my heart, forgive me that I cannot let you go," wrote the wife of the fallen Tetiana. The serviceman was buried in the Alley of Glory of the central cemetery in his native Okhtyrka. Serhii is survived by his parents and wife.
