Serhii V. Chura

Born on April 27, 1986, in the village of Loshniiv, Terebovlia district, Ternopil region. Graduated from a general education school. In April 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukachevo, Zakarpattia region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He served near the urban-type settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk region. On November 9, 2015, while carrying out a mission to deliver fuel to the front line, soldier Chura was seriously wounded by an enemy sniper. The seriously wounded serviceman was transported to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region (city of Kharkiv), where he died from his injuries on November 15, 2015. He was buried on November 19, 2015, in the cemetery of the village of Loshniiv, Terebovlia district, Ternopil region.
