Serhii V. Deineha

Born on September 11, 1972, in the city of Bobrovitsa, Chernihiv region. Graduated from secondary school No. 2 in Bobrovitsa, then from Kyiv City Vocational Technical School No. 16 (now Kyiv Higher Vocational School of Woodworking). Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR. Recently worked at the joint-stock company "Brovary Plastics Plant" (city of Brovary, Kyiv region). On June 20, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Bobrovitsa-Nosivka Combined District Military Commissariat of Chernihiv region. He served as the commander of the 2nd anti-tank squad of the anti-tank platoon of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167 (field post V0849), city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In early August 2014, Sergeant Daynega was wounded in the arm and temporarily lost his hearing. After receiving medical assistance in the field, the serviceman returned to duty. On August 9, 2014, Sergeant Daynega was killed during shelling from BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers in the area of the village of Marynivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region. He was buried on August 15, 2014, at the cemetery in the city of Bobrovitsa, Chernihiv region.
