Serhii V. Dziuba (Malyi)

Soldier Serhii Dziuba (call sign Malyi) was killed on August 27, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The warrior was 42 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Vinozh, Vinnytsia region. He received a secondary education. From the age of 19, he lived in Boyarka, Kyiv region. He worked all his life for himself, was a builder, electrician, plumber, and so on. In his free time, he loved to fish, cook, and spend time with his wife and children. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend his native country from the Russian occupiers. He served in the 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of rifleman-medic. "Serhii was very brave, kind, caring, and loving. He proudly defended Ukraine. He carried many fallen and wounded boys off the battlefield. He will forever remain in our hearts," said his wife Hanna. The defender was buried in his native village in Vinnytsia region. Serhii is survived by his parents, sister, wife, son, and daughter.
