      • Born on August 19, 1975, in the city of Odesa. Graduated from high school. Mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a rifleman-assistant grenade launcher of the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi district (since 2016 - Lymanskyi) of Odesa region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 11, 2016, soldier Fomin died of cardiac arrest while on military service in the urban-type settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk region. On March 16, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Malodolynske, Chornomorsk city council, Odesa region.
