Serhii V. Kondratiuk (Pukh)

Soldier Serhii Kondratiuk (call sign Puh) died on November 17, 2022 in battle with the Russian army near the village of Torske in the Donetsk region. The defender remained forever 24 years old. Serhii was from the city of Slavuta, Khmilnytskyi region. In 2004-2008 he studied at the Pashukivska school, in 2008-2015 - at the Uspikh lyceum. Then he joined the ranks of the separate light infantry unit "Volyn" - a volunteer armed formation that is part of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army. He dreamed of his own business - a security company. He also very much wanted to have a large family. He devoted all his free time to his family and friends. When Serhii died, his fiancée Liliia was already pregnant, the couple was waiting for a daughter, but she never met her father. Serhii served in the 111th Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the reconnaissance company of the brigade command. He was awarded the "For Merit" badge of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Union of Veterans and Employees of the Law Enforcement Agencies of Ukraine "Zvytiahy". "He was a sincere patriot, always came to help. He loved his family and his country very much, for the sake of which he took up the defense of the state," said his fiancée Liliia Olennykova. The fallen warrior was buried at the New Cemetery in the city of Slavuta. Serhii is survived by his mother, fiancée, daughter, brother and sister.
