- Born on October 8, 1968, in the village of Nova Dmytrivka, Zolotonis'kyi district, Cherkasy region. Lived in the city of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv region. Graduated from secondary school No. 4 in the city of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi. From 1986 to 1997, served in the Armed Forces (from 1986 to 1988 - compulsory military service, from 1988 - contract military service). Graduated from the sergeant school. Before the withdrawal of troops, served in the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany (German Democratic Republic). From 1997 to 2011, worked as a firefighter in the 27th State Fire and Rescue Unit in the city of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi. Since 2011 - retired. On March 20, 2014, mobilized by the Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Combined Military Commissariat into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as the chief sergeant of the 1st tank platoon of the 2nd tank company of the tank battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 26, 2014, sergeant Lazenko was killed during an artillery shelling of a platoon stronghold in the area of the village of Hryhorivka, Amvrosiivskyi district, Donetsk region.
