Serhii V. Leshchinskyi

Soldier Serhii Leshchynskyi was killed on November 30, 2022, during the assault near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. The defender received a fatal shrapnel wound. The warrior was 41 years old. Serhii was born in the city of Dnipro. He lived in the village of Mohyliv, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from Lyskivska secondary school. He worked as a builder and was the foreman of a brigade. In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the eastern direction of the front. "He was the most positive person I ever knew. I owe him everything I have and who I am. You were and are the most important person in my life," said the deceased's daughter. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Mohyliv, Dnipropetrovsk region. At home in Serhii, his wife Yuliia, daughter Yana, and son Dmytro were waiting.
