Serhii V. Mykhailov

Born on April 22, 1977, in the city of Lviv. Graduated from general education school No. 4 in the city of Zolochiv, Lviv region. Worked at the historical and cultural reserve "Lychakiv Cemetery" in the city of Lviv. Mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served in the 80th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Red Banner Order of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, city of Lviv). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 20, 2015, soldier Mykhailov died of a heart attack while on duty in the village of Denezhnykove, Novoaidar district, Luhansk region. On March 23, 2015, he was buried in the field of Honorary Burials No. 76 at Lychakiv Cemetery in the city of Lviv. On May 19, 2017, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of general education school No. 4 (68 Akademika Pavlova Street) in the city of Zolochiv, honoring the graduates who died during the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, among whom is the name of Serhiy Mykhailov.
