Serhii V. Pavliuchkov

Soldier Serhii Pavliuchkov was killed on February 13, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. The fighter was 32 years old. Serhii was born in the city of Nizhyn, Chernihiv region. He studied at the local secondary school No. 9. Then he graduated from the Chernihiv Professional Lyceum of Railway Transport. He worked as a dispatcher at a railway station in Kyiv. In 2009, he entered the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport. In recent years, he worked in construction. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 77th separate airmobile brigade. "In absolutely all my projects over the past few years, Serhii has performed construction work. He always performed skillfully, conscientiously and of high quality. He could always be relied upon. Many of my clients, designers, and suppliers knew him personally. In December, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, underwent training and was immediately sent to the hot spot. Unfortunately, his service to the Motherland turned out to be short-lived..." wrote his colleague Ihor Stryiak. "All his life, Serhii persistently strove to realize his life goals. He was a kind and loving husband, father, caring son and brother," noted the Nizhyn community. The serviceman was buried in his native Nizhyn. Serhii is survived by his wife Tetiana, son Denys and daughter Ilona.
