Serhii V. Prymak

Sergeant Serhiy Prymak died on November 2, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Nevske in the Luhansk region. The defender was 32 years old. Serhiy was born in the village of Pidluzhne in the Rivne region. He studied at a local school. He then entered the National University of Water Management and Nature Use. He worked as a laborer in construction and at a local sawmill. During the full-scale war, in April 2022, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of squad commander—commander of an armored vehicle. "Serhiy was a kind, sincere, caring, and the best godfather for our son Bohdan," said the deceased's godmother, Oksana. "The best son, brother, comrade… A valiant warrior and devoted patriot of his native land. Always friendly, calm, reliable, and modest—this is how Serhiy will forever remain in our memory. We sincerely sympathize with the family and mourn together with the relatives and friends of the deceased. Glory to the Hero, a faithful son of Ukraine!" noted the Kostopil City Council. The serviceman was buried in his native village. Serhiy is survived by his mother Hanna, older brother Viktor, relatives, and friends.
