Serhii V. Puchin

Serhii Volodymyrovych Puchin was born on January 13, 1988 in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in the "Soniachnyi" microdistrict and studied at secondary school No. 119 in the Saksahanskyi district. He worked in the Czech Republic for some time. After returning home in 2020, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". After training in Dnipro, he participated in combat operations in eastern Ukraine as part of the Joint Forces Operation. At the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was mobilized as a first-line reservist. He was immediately at the front line, participating in battles in the Kharkiv region. He was killed on April 19, 2022 from an explosive wound in Lozova, Kharkiv region. The farewell ceremony took place on May 1, 2022 in his hometown. Serhii Puchin was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Southern Mining and Processing Plant cemetery in Kryvyi Rih.
