Serhii V. Pyndyk

Sergiy Pindyk was killed in action on July 17, 2022, in battles in the Mykolaiv region. In June, the man turned 47 years old. The fighter was born in the village of Koshpany, Vinnytsia region. Later, he lived and worked as a tractor driver in the village of Romaniv-Khutir. In 2015, he was mobilized. Sergiy served in the ATO and returned home, where his family was waiting for him. He had many plans for the future, but a full-scale war began. On the second day, Sergiy again went to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers. He held the position of driver in the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandziuk. In the summer, his unit defended the southern regions. Unfortunately, this rotation became the last for the defender. "He was the best husband, father, and faithful friend. Everyone who knew him cannot say anything bad about him. He was always ready to help and lend a friendly shoulder. On February 25, 2022, he went to defend the Motherland without delay and hesitation. He was a true patriot of his country," his wife Svitlana said. The defender was buried in his native Vinnytsia region. At home, Sergiy's wife and three children, whom he loved very much, were waiting for him.
