Serhii V. Telushkov (Kriepysh)

Telushkov Serhii Valeriiovych was born on March 27, 1998, in Chernihiv. From the age of 5, he dreamed of becoming an officer. After graduating from the Chernihiv Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots, he entered the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Pyotr Sahaidachny, where he received the title of officer and the specialty "Management of Mechanized Unit Actions." In 2019, while choosing a unit to serve in, he selected the 1st Separate Tank Brigade. He was the best athlete in the brigade. Then he began his service in the ATO/OOS zone in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where he sustained shrapnel wounds and was concussed. On February 25, 2022, he was killed in combat with Russian occupiers near the village of Khalyavyn in Chernihiv Oblast, where the units of the 1st Tank Brigade encountered an enemy tank column. A strike hit the combat vehicle on which Serhii was located. The explosion threw him 30 meters away, resulting in injuries incompatible with life.
