- Sergiy Vasyuta (call sign Kuznets) was killed in action on June 18, 2022, from a bullet of an enemy sniper near the village of Neskuchne, Donetsk region. The serviceman was born and lived in Dnipro. He graduated from the local comprehensive school No. 132, received the profession of an accountant at the financial technical school. Until 2013, he worked in his specialty, and then became a teacher, teaching the subject "Defense of Ukraine" in three schools in Dnipro. Sergiy also had his own business - an active recreation club "LaserFront", where children and adults played laser tag, birthdays and patriotic events were held. In 2014-2015, Sergiy took part in the ATO. During this period, the man was awarded the President of Ukraine's award "For participation in the anti-terrorist operation", the award of the Chief of the General Staff "Participant of the ATO" and the medal "For loyalty to the national idea". After demobilization, he continued his business in his hometown. In parallel, he worked as a trainer in military-tactical training for civilians. On February 24, 2022, Sergiy turned 46 years old. On the same day, a full-scale war began, and Kuznets again went to defend Ukraine. He joined the 99th separate battalion of the TRO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Sergiy was sensitive, kind, positive, never did anything bad to anyone, never said a bad word. A real man, brave and reliable. A man of his word, always ready to help at any time. A person, a Teacher with a capital letter!", - said his wife Irina. "Sergiy in his club united people of different professions, ages, views on life, but we all had common weekends and love for laser tag, and everyone was waiting and hurrying for training... Hundreds of photos and memories, emotions, new cities, places, people... And yet dreams, goals, desires, expectations... The world has divided into "before" and "after"... So much has not been said, so much has not been done, it's so painful to understand...", - added Sergiy's friends. The defender was buried at the Krasnopilskoe cemetery in his native Dnipro. Sergiy left behind a wife, two sons, parents, and sisters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
