Serhii V. Vozniuk

Born on November 15, 1961, in the city of Kam'yanka-Buzka, Lviv region. Completed 8 grades of secondary school in Kam'yanka-Buzka and a special vocational technical school in the urban-type settlement of Dobrotvir, Kam'yanka-Buzka district (now - State Educational Institution "Dobrotvir Professional Lyceum") with a specialty in "electric welder." From 1981 to 1983, he served in the Soviet Armed Forces. Returned to the city of Kam'yanka-Buzka. Since 1984, he worked at an enterprise in Kam'yanka-Buzka, and from 1985 - in the Radekhiv district of Lviv region. Lived in the village of Novyi Vytkiv, Radekhiv district, Lviv region. On August 13, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit V0927, in the cities of Sievierodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk region). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 27, 2016, Junior Sergeant Voznyuk was killed during an artillery shelling near the city of Marinka, Donetsk region. On September 1, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Novyi Vytkiv, Radekhiv district, Lviv region.
