Serhii Ya. Hryhorchak (Frehat)

Soldier Serhii Hryhorchak (call sign Fregat) was killed on February 14, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission near Marinka, Donetsk region. The warrior was 28 years old. Serhii was born in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. He studied at the local school No. 5. Then he obtained the profession of a gas worker at the Kirovohrad Vocational and Technical School. He lived in Kyiv for a long time. He worked as an installer, engaged in facade glazing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of gunner. "Serhii, my husband, my hero, eternal memory to you, I will always remember you, you are in my heart. I miss you so much. I don't know how I will be able to survive this pain, how I will live without you, without such a bright, kind, courageous and closest to me person. I still can't believe it... He had big plans for our future. He wanted to start a family, we planned to get married after the war, travel a lot. He went to war to defend his country for our future," wrote the deceased's beloved Yulia. The paratrooper was buried in his hometown. At home, a loving family, a girlfriend and friends were waiting for Serhii.
