Serhii Yu. Kostakov (Maestro)

During the USSR, Serhiy served as a scout in the GRU special forces. In 2010, he was one of the activists of the Tax Maidan and spent about 8 months in pre-trial detention on fabricated charges. After his release under a travel ban, he fled to Prague, where the Czech Republic granted Serhiy political asylum, and he had the opportunity to obtain Czech citizenship, but during the annexation of Crimea by Russia, he returned to Ukraine and volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 72nd Brigade, he fought in the "D" sector. He criticized the brigade leadership, which led to conflicts, and eventually received documents for a transfer to the 81st Air Assault Brigade. Since childhood, he learned to play the violin at a music school in Kyiv. The violin was with Serhiy in the ATO zone, where he played for the soldiers.
