- Born on July 25, 1991, in the city of Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2006, he graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 2 in Synelnykove, and in 2009 - from the Synelnykiv Professional Lyceum with a specialty in "Electric Gas Welder. Electric Welder on Automatic and Semi-Automatic Machines." From the summer of 2009, with a break for military service, he worked as a welder in the second shift of the mechanized wagon repair point of the Lower Dniprovs'k-Vuzol wagon depot of the Dnipro Directorate of the Dnipro Railway. From the fall of 2009 to the fall of 2010, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Synelnykiv United City Military Commissariat of Dnipropetrovsk region. He served as the deputy commander of an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) - a gunner-operator of the 8th company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 93rd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, field post V2830 - the urban-type settlement of Cherkaské, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 27, 2014, a group of servicemen in an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), whose deputy commander - gunner-operator was Senior Soldier Osalenko, left the checkpoint in response to a call for help. In the area between the cities of Horlivka and Yenakiieve in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian fighters were ambushed by separatists, who attacked them from three sides. During the battle, the cannon jammed and the engine of the IFV stalled. Senior Soldier Osalenko had to climb out of the fighting vehicle and fight as an infantryman. During the subsequent battle, he sustained a gunshot wound to the armpit (the bulletproof vest saved him from two bullets, but the third bullet hit between the plates). His comrades tried to save Senior Soldier Osalenko, provided him with first aid, bandaged him, and stopped the bleeding. However, their efforts were in vain, and the serviceman died in the arms of his comrades. On September 2, 2014, he was buried at the Eastern Cemetery in the city of Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
