Stanislav O. Yazan (Psykh)

23-year-old military man Stanislav Yazan (call sign Psykh) was killed on October 14, 2022 near the village of Novooleksandrivka in the Kherson region. While rescuing his comrades during enemy artillery shelling, the fighter himself sustained fatal injuries. Stanislav was born in the village of Martonosha, Kirovohrad region. He graduated from the Faculty of Agroengineering of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University. He was interested in musical acoustics and was involved in community activities. He lived in Kropyvnytskyi and had many plans for the future. During the full-scale war, Stanislav fought for his Homeland in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served in the 21st separate brigade of public order protection named after Petro Kalnyshevskyi. He held the position of a medic in the medical unit. "He was like a bright and warm spring sunray. Always smiling, friendly and kind. His rosy cheeks and cheerful gaze of sincere and gentle eyes set him apart from others with his strength, health and optimism. Eternal memory to you, Brother, Warrior-Hero! I believe that you will continue to reliably protect your native land, being on the list of the Heavenly Legion of Ukrainian heroes. Your bright image will forever remain in our memory!" - wrote the sister of the fallen Anastasia. The defender was buried in his native village. Stanislav is survived by his mother, stepfather and sisters.
