- Soldier Stanislav Oborozhniy (call sign Prometheus) was killed on April 17, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Vyshnevе in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defender was 35 years old. Stanislav was born and lived in Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from the Zaporizhzhia Vocational Lyceum of Water Transport, obtained the profession of a carpenter and a shipwright. He served his conscription in the Separate Presidential Regiment and received an excellent service record. He was a creative person, in his free time he wrote songs and music under the pseudonym StaНa MC. His loved ones say he was a cheerful and inventive person who always found a way out of any difficult situation. He had many friends and was always the life of the party. Before the full-scale Russian invasion, Stanislav worked as an installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures. But after February 24, 2022, he changed his usual life and joined the ranks of the defenders. The man fought for his Motherland in the ranks of the 110th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman. "He was an extremely positive and friendly person, always ready to support others and give positive emotions. Already in early March 2022, without hesitation, Stas went to the front as a volunteer. Having received a military task, together with his comrades-in-arms, they moved to the positions and clashed in an unequal battle with professional Russian paratroopers. Stanislav received mine-explosive injuries incompatible with life and was killed on the battlefield... He had an unwavering will and a big heart. He will always remain in our hearts as a devoted defender and a wonderful person who brought joy and smiles to everyone around him," said the deceased's sister Krystyna. The hero was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Kushuhum cemetery near Zaporizhzhia. Stanislav is survived by his mother, sister and two children.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
