- Stanislav Dovhopolyi (call sign Bruno), a scout, was killed on March 1, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. The defender was 34 years old. Stanislav was born in the settlement of Savyntsi in the Kharkiv region. After graduating from secondary school, he entered the Kharkiv National Agrarian University named after V.V. Dokuchaiev, and after graduation, he worked at an elevator, holding the position of a 5th grade grain processing operator. With the start of the full-scale war, Stanislav's native village was occupied. He saw how the occupiers were tormenting the Ukrainian people and set a goal to protect the Ukrainian people. After the liberation of the village in October 2022, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in the United Kingdom and was awarded a certificate "For the successful completion of the training program under the INTERFLEX UK operation." On December 28, 2022, he was appointed as a reconnaissance range finder of the 1st reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. Stanislav's sister Valeriia said, "My brother was a support, a pillar, a protector for me - the best brother. Stanislav, together with his comrades-in-arms, defended the integrity of our state with honor and dignity, showing incredible courage and self-sacrifice. Now he is our guardian angel." Stanislav's mother Svitlana said, "In the team, they remember the son as a very good, sincere and active person, they valued him as an excellent specialist. He was and remains the best son. He always helped, cared, supported, loved and respected us, his parents, and the whole family. Our son is our Hero, our pride. It is very painful that he is no longer with us, but we feel that he is always with us. As long as we live, he will live too!" The defender was buried in his native village. Stanislav is survived by his mother Svitlana Mykolaivna, father Volodymyr Mykhailovych, sister Valeriia, and sons Andrii and Kyrylo, who were 9 and 4 years old at the time of his death, respectively. Soldier Stanislav Dovhopolyi was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
