- Master Sergeant Stanislav Moskalenko was killed on April 13, 2022 during the defense of the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. When he was at his position, enemy shelling began. A rocket exploded near the dugout. Stanislav Moskalenko and his comrade-in-arms were killed instantly. In March, the soldier turned 29 years old. Stanislav was born in Luhansk. He dedicated his life to working in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, he has been participating in combat operations, serving at the "Krasna Talivka" checkpoint in the Luhansk region. In 2016, Stanislav was transferred to the town of Troitske, where he lived with his family. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man continued to defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders. As part of the 3rd Border Guard detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Pikus, he carried out combat missions on the front line. "He dedicated almost 9 years to protecting peaceful people in the region. The warrior could not see his native Luhansk since 2014. He did not betray his comrades-in-arms and his oath, he did not go over to the side of the invaders, knowing that his family was in occupation. "I will return only with the flag of Ukraine...", - that's how Stanislav spoke about his native land. He was able to be with his little daughter for only 2 months," said the wife of the fallen. The border guard was buried at the Krasnopilsky cemetery in Dnipro. Stanislav is survived by his parents, younger brother, wife and daughter. Master Sergeant Stanislav Moskalenko was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
