Stepan M. Epereshi

Military serviceman Stepan Epereshi was killed on August 29, 2022, during an artillery shelling in the Kherson region. The defender was 43 years old. Stepan was born in the village of Korolevo in the Zakarpattia region, graduated from a local school. He worked in construction, then went to the factory. He loved to do household chores, and worked in the yard. He was kind and always helped everyone. When the full-scale war began, Stepan received a summons. The man, without hesitation, went to the military commissariat and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade, he went to the front line. But, unfortunately, during the battles for the Kherson region, he . "Wonderful father. Wonderful husband. He had many friends and acquaintances. Everyone loved and respected him," said his daughter Karina. The defender was buried in his native village in Zakarpattia. At home, Stepan's wife and daughter were waiting for him.
