Stepan S. Pashko

Senior Sergeant Stepan Pashko was killed on March 4, 2022, defending Kyiv region from occupiers. The defender sustained fatal injuries during enemy artillery shelling near the village of Makariv. The warrior was 45 years old. Stepan was from Rivne region. He first stu at Varash School No. 2, then at the school in the village of Stara Rafalivka. He worked as a fitter at the company "Yutem-Engineering". On the third day of the full-scale war, February 26, 2022, the man stood up to defend his family and homeland. He served in the ranks of the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver. "Heroes never die! Eternal and bright memory to you, our HERO!" wrote the fallen warrior's wife, Tetyana. "Eternal and bright memory to the Hero. He was kind to both his parents and his family: children and wife," wrote acquaintance Valentyna Ivashyna. "Farewell, Friend. Eternal memory to you! Rest in peace," wrote Volodymyr Rymarchuk. The fighter was buried in the village of Stara Rafalivka in Rivne region. Stepan leaves behind his wife and three daughters. Posthumously, Senior Sergeant Stepan Pashko was awarded the Order of "Courage" III degree.
