Stepan V. Fetsych (Iblis)

Soldier Stepan Fetsych (call sign Iblis) was killed on August 26, 2023, on the territory of the Serebryansk forestry near the city of Kreminna, Luhansk region. During an enemy tank shelling, a shell hit the trench where the warrior was located. On August 12, the defender turned 23 years old. Stepan was born in the village of Vozyliv, Ternopil region. He graduated from the Buchach Agrarian College with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He worked as a geophysical technician at LLC "Georozvidka". He was interested in literature and read a lot. He planned to obtain a higher legal education. During the full-scale invasion of the invaders, Stepan defended his country in the ranks of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". He was a sapper-scout. "The kindest child in the family. Honest, courageous, sincere, reliable, brave... Great pain and loss that cannot be reconciled," said his mother Halyna. Stepan was buried in his native village. He is survived by his parents, brother, sister, and beloved girlfriend. The National Guardsman was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
