Sviatoslav A. Soiko

Soyko Svitoslav Andriyovych was born on January 24, 1990, in the territory of Russia in a military family. From childhood, he had an inclination towards tourist hikes and loved mountains. After finishing school, he enrolled in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Uzhhorod National University. After graduation, he moved to France and joined the French Foreign Legion. Later, together with friends, he decided to engage in organizing tours to Georgia, France, and Kyrgyzstan. On February 26, 2022, he returned to Ukraine and immediately went to the military enlistment office to defend the state from Russian occupiers. He served as a scout in the reconnaissance platoon of the infantry battalion of the 128th OGSHBr. He was killed on March 24, 2022, during the clearing of the village of Mirne in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was buried on April 4, 2022, in the city of Uzhhorod.
