- Abramenko Svyatoslav Vadymovych was born on May 7, 1992, in Donetsk region. During his military service, Sergeant Major Svyatoslav Abramenko proved himself to be devoted to the Ukrainian people, military duty, and the task of guarding the state border of Ukraine. In his service activities, he constantly demonstrated initiative and perseverance. He did not shy away from difficulties and was always focused on achieving results. He had good professional training and performed his duties effectively. From April 22, 2022, the border guard soldier, according to combat orders, served in one of the key areas of Donetsk region, where his unit was under constant fire pressure from the aggressor. During the defense of the occupied positions in the area of Novomykhailivka village in Donetsk region, acting as part of the border unit, he participated in ensuring national security measures, maintaining the defense line, repelling, and restraining armed aggression. On February 9, 2023, the unit, which included Svyatoslav Abramenko, despite combat losses and continuous enemy artillery shelling of positions, bravely and heroically resisted the advance of superior enemy forces in the area of Vodiane village in Donetsk region. During the assault actions and enemy shelling of the platoon stronghold "Disney," Svyatoslav Abramenko was wounded. On April 5, 2023, Russian troops, with a significant advantage in manpower, attempted to attack the company stronghold "Mark" in the area of Novomykhailivka village in Donetsk region. From dawn, enemy artillery carried out a massive shelling of the positions of Ukrainian defenders. After the shelling ended, enemy infantry advanced. The border defenders began to repel the attack using mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. Having no success, the enemy retreated with losses. During the repulsion of the enemy attack, Svyatoslav Abramenko received wounds incompatible with life. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Chief Sergeant Abramenko Svyatoslav Vadymovych was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
