Taras A. Tyshevskyi (Zhupan)

Senior Soldier Taras Tysovsky (call sign Zhupan) was killed in action against the occupiers near the village of Pavlivka in Donetsk region on November 1, 2022. The warrior is forever 33 years old. Taras was born in the village of Zhupany, Lviv region. He lived in Lviv. He stu at the Lviv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after the Heroes of Kruty. Then he graduated from the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. He underwent compulsory military service in Dnipropetrovsk region. From 2007-2011, he was in the ranks of the 45th Special Purpose Regiment named after Oleksandr Krasitsky of the National Guard of Ukraine. From 2019-2020, he worked at the private enterprise "Kapitalprombud". With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Taras joined the ranks of the 2nd Separate Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Together with his comrades, he carried out combat missions on various fronts. "He is the best person of all. He lived smiling and left without saying goodbye. I still can't believe he's gone. My Tarichok is now an Angel," said the warrior's wife Maria. The defender was buried at Marsovo Pole in Lviv. Taras is survived by his wife and son. Posthumously, Senior Soldier Taras Tysovsky was awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.
