Taras I. Semeriak

Taras Ivanovych Semyriak was born on March 14, 1994, in the city of Yavoriv in the Lviv region. He stuwas killed at Yavoriv Secondary School No. 3 named after Taras Shevchenko. After the 9th grade, he obtained the profession of an auto mechanic at the Lviv Technical School. He went to Poland for work. For almost three years, he worked as a waiter and bartender in a catering establishment in Lviv. In Lviv, he found a fiancée with whom he was to marry. Since March 2021, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, undergoing training in the village of Starychi, and from July of that year, he participated in the Joint Forces Operation, defending his homeland from Russian invaders. With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he continued to stand guard over his homeland in the Luhansk region. He was killed on March 7, 2022, in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region.
