Biography
Taras Mykolayovych Bobanich (call sign Hammer) was born on March 15, 1989, in the city of Truskavets, Lviv region. In 2006, he graduated from Stryi Comprehensive School No. 9. In 2011, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs with a degree in "Jurisprudence". From 2011 to 2015, he worked as a lawyer at the LLC "Law Firm 'De Lex'". He was a member of the "Right Sector" party and head of the Lviv regional branch of the "Right Sector". He actively participated in the Revolution of Dignity. He ran for the extraordinary elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine in 2014. Since July 2014, he has been the commander of the 2nd Reserve Battalion of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector", which was reformed into the 2nd Reserve Company of the DUK PS in February 2016. He participated in battles in Donbas. In 2015, he was one of the coordinators of the "Civil Blockade of Crimea" action - a commodity blockade of the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. On November 30, 2019, he was appointed Deputy Commander of the DUK PS for issues related to the activities of reserve units. In 2020, he was elected a member of the Board of the National Liberation Movement "Right Sector". He participated in the military-patriotic education of young people. He was killed on April 8, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Vyronivka in the Kharkiv region, covering his comrades with his body. He was buried on April 13, 2022, at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.Burial place
