Taras O. Chaban (Sultan)

Taras Oleksandrovych Chaban was born on February 7, 1984 in the city of Novovolynsk, Volyn region. He graduated from the Ternopil National Economic University. After graduating from the university, he worked as a welder, and later became a driver of international freight transportation. Taras Chaban served as part of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, which participated in combat operations in eastern Ukraine. His comrades describe him as a person with a sense of humor and always ready to help others. He could sacrifice his life to protect his comrades, was devoted to his service, and always strived to achieve the best results. He died on September 26, 2022 near the village of Hryanikivka in the Kharkiv region. He was buried in the Alley of Glory of Heroes at the city cemetery of Novovolynsk. He is survived by his wife and two children.
