- Paratrooper Taras Chernyshenko (call sign Yas) was killed on December 10, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Torske in the Donetsk region. The defender was 29 years old. Taras was born in the village of Teofipol, Khmilnytskyi region. He graduated from the local secondary school No. 1. He served in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. Then he worked in the agro-industrial holding "MHP". He was passionate about everything related to military affairs. During the full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. He held the position of senior rifleman. "Taras was very kind and fair. In every matter he undertook, he was a master. The best man, father and son. He always strived for justice. It seems to me that he always thought two steps ahead," said the wife of the deceased Tetiana. "Taras was a courageous warrior and patriot, from the first days of the war he went to defend his family, his homeland and us from the Moscow horde... He honorably and with dignity fulfilled his civic and military duties until the end. There are no words to express all the pain and horror that each of us is now experiencing. In this difficult time, we bow our heads low before the bright memory of the warrior who gave his life for the peaceful sky over Ukraine. We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased, we share their pain and sorrow," noted the Teofipol village council. The warrior was buried in his native village. Taras is survived by his parents, sister, wife and daughter. Posthumously, soldier Taras Chernyshenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
