Biography
Zherebetskyi Taras Petrovych was born on September 7, 1987, in the city of Chervonohrad, Lviv region. He lived in the city of Lviv. He studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing. From a young age, he worked in the service sector. He worked as a bartender, from where he got his call sign. He was an active participant in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity. In 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, defending the Luhansk airport. After demobilization, he went to work as an engineer at the Fujikura plant. Recently, he was a deputy of the Lviv district council and the head of the European Solidarity faction. After the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders on February 24, 2022, Taras took up arms again and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the ranks of the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the commander of a fire support squad. He died on July 18, 2022, as a result of a mine explosion near the village of Spirne, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. For personal courage and selfless actions, manifested in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Zherebetskyi Taras Petrovych was awarded the Order of Courage of the II degree (posthumously).Burial place
